sorry for my lack of inspiration. i haven't been able to update for a while, and well, its because im too lazy to go online after a day of waking up, going to school, going to the office, then going home again. and yeah, its one sweltering summer. im just not inspired.
however, some major (?) happenings have put me again infront of my computer. :D hmm...actually wala namang masyadong kwento. but the fact that i attended a formsem, planning, and a wedding all in a single weekend seemed interesting. especially the wedding part.
well, it was a private affair. i got invited coz i was the bride's sister's friend. i happened to drag my dude kris to this formal/filipiniana-clad gathering and for that, i owe her one. :) anyway, what was very remarkable about the night was that the bride and groom looked very very happy. its actually the first wedding that i attended where i personally knew the couple (coz usually it was my parents who knew them), and yeah, i saw that "wedding glow" exist between them during the whole affair. i figured that it also affected the mood of the guests. while eating, almost everyone was engaged in cheerful conversations, where a bunch of laughter could be heard once in a while.
and of course, who will miss the traditional clinking of wine glasses? the couple didn't seem to mind at all. in fact, i think they actually enjoyed it. haha...who can blame them? they looked (and felt) so happy.
makes me wonder now how easy it is to be happy. im a generally happy person, but certain emotional blows could really shake my world. and, like harry potter's dementors, makes me feel that im never gonna be happy again. sometimes it seems so inviting to just sulk in a corner and let the world turn. but then, i have come to see last night that it only takes a great load of WILL to be happy. when we decide to be happy, we begin to be happy. and it's fun to be happy. it's even contagious.
i wish everyone saw this couple last night and see for themselves what im talking about. and maybe, somewhere in their hearts, they will find a flicker of desire to be just like them...glowing...smiling to the world...and the camera ;D
