sometimes i love hectic days. last weekend was one of a kind...for the first time in my college history (haha exxag) i was picked up from the apartment before sunset!
FRIDAY: mom took a half-day off to get home early coz my cousins were coming over. they arrived from the US two weeks ago but i only got to see them that time coz i had to go to immersion.
anyway, ayun. perfect pa rin ang tagalog ng pinsan ko. haha...although sometimes the slang-ish english would come out, especially during our "bouncy" conversations. we didnt get to talk right into the morning since they had to leave early the next day to go to the province. mom's going with them so i was left to tend (a.k.a slave-drive?) the bros for the weekend.
at oo nga pala! i found out that i was gonna be an aunt (for the 3rd time in my mom's side!) in july --- haha, lucky kid! sana magka-birthday kami! :) and i also got the new digicam. :D
SATURDAY:i had to bring mom & the cousins to the bus station, get my youngest bro to school for his field trip, get their report cards, and pick up my bro again. in the middle of those i had to plan three meals for us, get the car washed, feed the animals...and do my schoolwork. but then saturday night was also the night. thank god for supportive friends, adrenaline rush, gatorade, music, and the applause. :D yahoo may bago kong jacket from my highschool. :D
it was also the night that i caught may bro doing something --- it was actually funny coz i was in the same situation years ago. para bang nag-flashback, tapos nakita ko yung sarili ko sa kanya. anyway, i lectured him and made him promise that he will be open to me about it. may pinagmanahan talaga yung mokong na yun...winston reds ba naman ang pinangbinyag sa sarili?
SUNDAY: i was on-call the whole day. my mom and my cousins were on their way back to manila, and i had to pick them up from the station. but first i had to bring my stuff in katipunan, coz we'll be bringing them to their house in novaliches. mom would drop me off in the apartment afterwards. hay.
i got lost in sm north. as in yung TIPONG naririnig sa: "attention shoppers, there is a lost girl, 21 years old, wearing a black shirt and khaki pants..." syempre di naman umabot sa PA system, pero naman...around 15 mins din akong nagmistulang lost sheep? hay the humiliation. :)
my left leg actually ached from driving. grabe first time. never knew the clutch would put that much strain. anyway, after some mamaru moves and mistaking my left & right (pagbigyan...first time magmaneho papuntang novaliches mula binangonan), i got into the apartment at around 9pm. did some work and slept. :D
kapagod sobra. but it was nice coz it made me seem so dependable and responsible (haha!). and it also took my mind off many things. but then the most remarkable thing about it is the renewed relationship that i had with my bros...minsan lang kami mapag isa kaya pag nangyayari bonding talaga. haaaay. they're really much much more subdued than i am. takot gumawa ng kalokohan! kunsabagay tama na ang isang magulo't makulit sa pamilya. ;)
hala umaga na pala. tulog na ko. zzzzzzzz.
