i wont get into detail how ceramic and granite tiles nearly brought me to an asylum (or to anger management sessions). im just thankful that its over now and my blood pressure's beginning to return to its normal state. hay, the things that firstborns are destined to do. oh well.
i realized that im such a lazy ass. hehe. i cant even update this blog as often as i want to...well, come to think of it there's nothing really exciting about going to job interviews in the sadistic heat, being an underpaid family driver, or just bumming around with the remote control permanently attached to my hand. hehe. ok, i need a job. just so to have an air conditioned office, at least. :) see, ive been living here in the suburbs my whole life and its doesnt get this hot. haay. tinaguriang bundok, saksakan pa rin ng init. kahit hangin mainit.
but ive sure done a lot of things. ive bonded with our 5 orphaned kittens. ive finished a book and im now set to see its movie version. ive burned important stuff into CDs, wrote long overdue letters, archived my college files, and spent time in my favorite spot in the house...the roof. :) yup, its dangerous, it being yero and all, and i am so in the risk of getting a wound plus tetanus bonus. but its really nice to be up there in the late afternoon hour of 5PM and enjoy the cooler air...and of course risk getting bird poop too. :)
ok. so, we got cats. again. well they're really my brother yobs' cats coz he found them when they were born, but we also grew to love them coz they make you go "awwww". hehe. they're quite big now, and getting rowdy. i even woke up one morning to see one staring at me from the foot of my bed. turns out they're able to climb now, and this one got inside the house when my bro went outside. oh well. pets. :)
speaking of pets we do have a lot of animals (not in the figurative way, hehe) up here. we got love birds who recently have produced an egg, turtles who have grown from the size of a 5-peso coin to something almost as big as my palm, and yeah, the cats. several years back we caught and killed a snake (hmmmm), and we do have the occassional bubuli housed near the plants. for those who do not know the bubuli, its a black, shiny lizard that actually looks like a house lizard only 10-15 times its size, depending on its age. :) we also had fish and rabbits in the past. well id really like to own a donkey or a crocodile, but my mom wont let me. :( an albino phyton would also be nice, or some piranhas. or a monkey! but then i already got two monkeys for brothers, hehe :) :)
haaaay, ang init talaga ng pilipinas!!! im goin to the roof now to cool myself. hoping there are no cats there that i might "disturb". hehehe :)
