obviously, i watched Rent again. :)
im a sucker for "old" movies...not the 60s, 70s, or 80s type, but the ones that i wanted to watch but never had the time to do so, or missed the show dates (or was not shown in the philippines at all), or those that just had me intrigued. ive been watching: deuce bigalow (the european gigolo), boat trip, notting hill, spanglish, shall we dance, the parent trap (yup! found it in DVD), the family stone, rent (duh), brokeback mountain, jackass 3 (kagaguhan to the maximum level), you got mail...hehe. bum life at its best. i plan to watch more! and i wanna get the 2nd season of desperate housewives on DVD. maaaresto na ko ni capt. barbell nito! nyehe! :)
a few weeks ago i heard that there's gonna be a third installment of Ocean's Eleven! :) this july they're gonna start shooting in LA for Ocean's Thirteen, and will make it into the cinemas by 2007. waaaah! i can't wait!!! :) sadly though, julia roberts will not be in the cast this time due to her unreachable talent fees (speculation lang to ha), or maybe she just wants to be more of a mom to her twins. rumors say that al pacino will be there. whoa. george clooney, brad pitt, andy garcia, al pacino...all in one movie. the devil's advocate meets danny ocean!
i also want new books...dan brown's Deception Point seems interesting, so is The Power and the Glory by graham greene. i also can't wait to get robert greene's The 48 Laws of Power and The Art of Seduction. The Last Temptation of Christ by nikos kazantzakis also seems nice. id also love to get a copy of the PostSecret book, but its not available in the philippines and ive no plans of goin to the US (where it can be found). oh well. i need a f*ckin salary!!! hahaha :)
