it all started with a 9AM phonecall.
"a.R, free ka ba ngayong afternoon? kasi yung isa naming friend nag-backout sumama...baka gusto mong manood ng The Buzz sa ABS mamaya..."
i heard no more. all of a sudden someone was screaming and running around in circles and bumping everything in her path. only when i felt a sharp pain from my leg did i realize that it was me. AHHHHHHHHH!!! OH MY GOOOOOOOD!!!! YOU ARE SOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!! ive been dreaming of this moment since 2004...i even remember writing it as one of the things id want to do for 2005! hahaha. i was already dreaming of the studios, the pictures (oh, the pictures!), boy abunda, kris aquino (in the flesh!), sam milby...
pero teka. sunday. my mom usually has something to do for this day. off with the dreams and on with getting the permission:
me: mom, may lakad ka ba ngayon?
mom: hmm. bakit?
me: wala lang po, nagtatanong lang.
(5-minute recess as i gathered some info: be there 2 hours before the show, 2.30pm, which means id have to leave the anscestral house by 12.30pm)
me: mom, so, ano po? may pupuntahan po kayo?
mom: bakit ba kasi? (nakukulitan na siya)
me: ah, eh...kasi po, tinatanong po ako ni ginny kung pwede po ako sumama sa kanila...uh... manonood po ng The Buzz na live...sa ABS...mamaya.
mom: sa ABS?
me: opo.
mom: hmmm...wala naman akong naiisip puntahan. (pause) kunsabagay mahirap pumasok diyan pag walang passes noh? e diba paborito mo yang The Buzz na yan? Sige, pumunta ka na.
AHHHHHHHHH!!!! i love you, mother!!!! :)
and that is how i was able to watch my favorite show in the world LIVE. ;p
