its that time of the year when things suddenly are put into a certain perspective. when the rewind button automatically presses itself, sending me into a whirlwind of images commonly known as memories. reality sets in as i am reminded that yeah, in a few days' time i will be adding one more year to this thing called age. tagalugin natin: tatanda at lilipas din ako.
:: ive currently graduated with a degree in management, major in communications technology management from the blue eagle school. ive always wanted to be in the military, and i plan to get into the 6-month bootcamp-like training for the reserve airforce crew, and hopefully vie for a place at West Point after. for now im pursuing further studies in economics, after which i will be dabbling into political science and then into the foreign service. oooo, nagulat ka noh? joke lang yan. ;p
eto seryoso na sa automatic rewind chuva.
:: i guess i'll always be my mother's daughter. her antagonist most of the time, yet still the person to trust with family and other serious matters. she's always told me that i reflected her inner self; something that she has suppressed or controlled but always knew that she had it within. "the father becomes the son, and the son becomes the father..." well superman, this time it would have to be the mother and the daughter.
:: i admit to having the advantage of being the only daughter regarding favors from the parental units. yet i think my mother probably considers this a disadvantage for she soon found out that id rather tinker around with the household items with a philips screwdriver than actually do household chores. mas madali kasi tanggalin sa kamay yung grasa (grease) kesa gamutin ang sarili dahil sa allergic rhinitis.
:: ...which may be attributed to the fact that i practically grew up without a man in the house. don't get me wrong; i don't blame my dad. i love him dearly and i know that if he had his way things would've been different. besides, if not for his overseas work i wouldn't have the life that im living now. i owe him a lot, kuya boy. *with tears at nanginginig na boses* (kuya boy while a sad intrumental song is playing: "nanonood siya ngayon. anong sasabihin mo sa kanya?")
:: having two brothers is a good thing because i have limitless supply of people to bully (hehe) and horse around with, practice my practical jokes on, borrow money from (mas mayaman pa sila sa akin!), and share a fondness for food with. haha its more than that actually. they're growing up and becoming as crazy as their older sister that soon id have to upgrade myself or else they'll usurp my throne. and nobody does that to me!!! --- hahaha pirated kay Lavinia sa Bituing Walang Ningning!
:: i never won a beauty contest, or a grand prize raffle, or even in jueteng (hehe). but i've won the best of life's prizes -- my friends. who needs a million dollars when you can borrow it from them without interest? oi yung mga may swiss bank accounts dyan!!! hahaha!!!
:: photographs will always be a constant in my life. excuse ko lang kung bakit laging may dalang camera.
a few days more and i will officially be an earthling for 8030 days. Dalawang Dekada't Dalawang Taon. naks parang title ng tribute sa noontime show! complete with phone patch ng mga taong babati sayo habang naiiyak ka at nakatingin sa ere dahil di mo alam kung saan galing yung boses. big brother, ikaw ba yan? hehe. seriously, aside from the BMW roadster, wesley gonzales, and angelina jolie, i really couldn't ask for more. masaya ako. tatanda at lilipas din ako. :) oh joy!!!
