no, no no, i am not complaining. i simply want to share how it feels to be someone identified solely as "be2106". or how my name has developed certain variations: "ehy-ah" or "arr"...depending mainly on the nationality of the speaker. we're on the 6th week of our project, SAP configurations, developments, and transports. im learning a lot everyday, and getting crazier every minute (if that's even possible). who said life was fair? as the SAPMaster goes, "if in doubt, go to SPRO!" maybe that's the code of "God" in SAP. :) anyway...
:: i am terribly missing the company of the people i care about the most, and the places that i considered my second home for four glory years of high school and another four roller coaster years of college. i long to feel the comfort, the conversations, and the laughter that was so much a part of everyday. i also miss the simplicity and user-friendliness of microsoft office.
:: whitney houston and james ingram have been residing in my mind's playlist for quite a while now. it takes every ounce of my self control not to launch into a heart-breaking Don't make meeeeeee clooooooooose one mo' doooooooooor in the middle of my mind-boggling developments and transports. SAP is driving me (beyond) craaaaaaaazy.
:: it is only now that i have seen myself as a totally personified version of a Mamaru (short for nagmamarunong). certainly a very humbling experience. one shining moment was when i got an online version of a reprimand from the SAP folks when i went on to request certain SAP accesses that were beyond the requirements of my job. if not for the kind fellow who had the sympathy to help me, i would've been locked from the system til i was able to explain why the hell did i want access to the information that i wasn't allowed to maintain, which will definitely result in me not being able to do my developments AKA my job. haaaay. :)
:: im so going to win the 2006 National Kulit Award with the amount of questions, clarifications, and confirmations that i throw at my colleagues everyday. it is so fitting for my team to have the weekly conference call on mondays...it gives me the whole week to bother (hehe) my more seasoned teammates to help me find my way through the long and winding road of SAPWorld. watSAP, ketSAP? :)
:: and for something non-SAP -- God is definitely getting better with His jokes. one of the best ones happened in may of 2005, another big one last july, and two new ones that are going to materialize this month. i seriously think that my faith is being tested here. maybe God is getting annoyed with the more frequent prayers of getting my configs to work as compared to sincerely asking forgiveness for my sins. :)
OK God, You win. I shall stop calling you SPRO :)
